Reason: I've been trying to get in touch with my work for the past few days to double check my schedule. They shut down for 10 days over Christmas so I wanted to make sure nothing had changed. I finally got through to my manager today and this is the response I got:
"You were supposed to work today. I hate to do this over the phone but we're going to have to let you go. It's just not working."
Wow. This has never happened to me before.
